Airtel Mobile: Run Local Blore No in UPW? Possible?

Guys, I plan to buy a Airtel Prepaid card. Any prepaid plan in Blore. Activate it. Get Lifetime INCOMING activated on it. Then DIVERT ALL VOICE CALLS to another Airtel UPWEST prepaid No.Then take the Blore SIM out of the handset. Will it work? Will all calls to Blore no be diverted to UPW no? Can anyone calling to Blore No know that they are calling a UPW no instead?Will there be any charges to Blore No? What will be charges to anyone calling to this Blore no, STD or Local?This is because, i am in UPwest but want to have a 'local no of Blore' running with me.

it works, but you will be charged for STD call from Bangalore airtel to UP airtel, on bangalore prepaid number

They can come to know only if the phone is switched off or out of reach. Bcoz in that case the IVR would be in HIndi!

Guys....Not working....[cry] Blore SIM is up & running.. Call Divert not happening...getting a 'Not DOne' Error message... Tried doing it with Local Nos, happening there..I guess one cant divert calls to numbers outside state circle!!! Wasted efforts!! What to do now guys...Pls suggest..

call the customer care once, i used to use this trick to avoid roaming charges which used to be exorbitant . used to divert Hyderabad number to Bangalore number
