Airtel Payments Bank (6% interest on deposits over 1 lakh)

It was up yesterday around 11.30 pm but some UPI issues are still there. APB balance check not working in Axis app.
Can't add money through website.

lol, I am sure now 811 and digibank are gonna come down too. Shows how much airtel is worth. Took them hardly a year to pull those interest rates down.

DBS is not a payments bank. Also it doesn't have to deal with KYC issues. Let's hope it doesn't change its interest rate either.

RBI slaps rupees five crore penalty on Airtel Payments Bank

The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a penalty of Rs 5 crore on Airtel Payments Bank for violating operating guidelines and Know Your Customer (KYC) norms. The fine was imposed after RBI scrutinised the bank’s documents relating to opening of accounts without any specific or clear consent from the customers.

uptil 1 lac - 7%
above 1 lac til 10lac - 6%
