This feature has been available for some time now (I first saw it about 4 months back). However, it does not allow to use the Talktime balance on ALL recharges. What I have observed is that this is not available for recharges where a coupon can be used - and there is no way to remove the coupon. Both screenshots attached.

right. i usually recharge using the 598 plan which has 1.5GB per day. but this time around i decided to get the limited data plan because my usage out of the house is pretty limited plus I can buy their add-on data pack at any time. and noticed this option for the first time. and as you mentioned was not offered the discount that is available to primary account holder. so maybe it was not that good a deal that i expected it to be!
I see their ARPU going further down due to the present situation. Like you said, even I would not be recharging with daily data pack when my plan expires next week. Instead, i'll go for the 379 pack with 6gb data and add on, if required. Broadband is serving well at this time.
Nice. recently they removed one discount coupon available on my account. after complaining they added the coupon amount to my main balance which i can now make use of.
