Airtel to label verified spammers on both calls and texts #AirtelFightsSPAM

If I turn on to automatically block calls from spam numbers, it block calls from these numbers even if they are in my contacts

I am using block all spam and scam calls option, works fine no such issue.

There is just no option to whitelist any number that they have marked as spam in their database.

You will have to download hiya app to report that

I got another call for STB recovery (from Airtel) and it was displaying Suspected Spam after I answered.
Not sure if it was identified as Spam by Airtel or Samsung dialer.

Got sms from mobile number. It was also labelled as Suspected Spam.
Similarly some more calls are also displaying as Suspected Spam.

Airtel doesn't do a Free iMessage verification for the first time
i doubt they will do all of this "samaj seva" for free

Whats funny is that I wasn't receiving such messages before Airtel added this 'labelling'. Low key feels like they are actually promoting them.
