Airtel unlimited 512 kpbs @ 649 only

Just to let you know.... yesterday i saw newspaper add of MTNL delhi of 599 Rs 512 kbps UL package....

And i was thinking to switch to MTNL.. as today morning i called Airtel CC from my office , and i told about them mtnl package she said tehy 512 kbps ul pachake @ 1099 only ...for mtnl she said airtel is offering better service......i replied politely better service at 600 rs difference was not attaractive..


But just few mins i came back ....and to my surprise my dl speed was in excess of 550 kbps.....

downloaded a few files and it confirmed..

I m HAppy Airtel doubled speed. I really appreciate Airtel :inodding:

Hope they dont revert back.... to 215 speed

i think its a temporary glitch like the good ole speed boost we used to get, but i have to confess its constant at 512 (infact over 512) on both of my connections, one at home and one in office. lets see if they make anything official.

they are bound to increase the speed of swift and turbo plans as well question is only when..i am expecting to get 1.5 mbps on my turbo 1299 plan in abt a weeks time

i have called airtel custcare they told me they have not information about other plans . but they increased the speed of 256 unlimited customers due to mtnl is increasing speed .

@narang: it is sad that this is not enforced in ncr and only in delhi..
