So the 1000gb offer is not available without 6 months and I also have to pay 500 for installation?

@r19 Nope ! there is no 6 month commitment for the 1000GB bonus. I have seen few rep's fooling people for their advantage to sell advance rental plans. There might be an installation cost but usually that is also free if you're using any other broadband and can submit the bill for the waiver. I reactivated Airtel BB after a gap of 1 year with zero installation. It is just a matter of finding the right person.

Moreover, specialised teams (Reactivation, Retention) have more powers than the Online or BB team reps. I usually avoid them.

@yougotmehere Please tell me more about reactivation.

I had terminated my Airtel broadband in September last year.

How can I get a better plan than listed the listed ones?

There is some 1800-103-???? number that i don't have but you can call up the regular CC and ask for that number or ask the rep to transfer your call to the reactivation dept (referred to as "Existing Team"). They can tell you about the special plans which i guess now are no longer valid as Airtel is trying to bridge the gap between Regular plans and Special plans but you can always get a 100-200 lifetime discount, 500-1000GB data bonus and activation waiver.

@yougotmehere I called them (reactivation dept) up. CC executive took my boradband number to know my details but he said that no special plans.

Is it possible that he will pass on the number to some other team and they offer me something better?

It is always the other way around. Usually special plans are offered when they call you back to convince for the reactivation and there are only few people or a team who are given special plans to convince people and it differs from city to city and number of other factors (competition, players etc). You can either wait for the call back but i am not sure how long that would take. Moreover, as i said above, airtel seems to be phasing out special plans. There is no significant special plan advantage that you get today apart from some monetary discount which you can always ask while reactivating. Special plans had a significance when there was scarcity of data and speeds.

i got my airtel FTTH connection installed 2 days ago,the connection is smooth at night and gives 95-100 MBps but in day time its horrible and i get huge packet loss, when i ping any website in cmd it gets timed out after every 5-6 replies...
I didn't expected that with a fibre broadband,my last broadband provider didn't have a single timeout at any time...
I've tweeted to them and haven't got any response, can anyone suggest anything?
