I used only 250-300MB data out of 1GB recharge which I was sharing with my brother.

yeah. at most the phone should consume a few megabytes every hour if you are not using it and your phone is not downloading anything in the background like huge mail attachments and other content.

I am using tata docomo 2g @ rs 51/- 150mb for 28 days. I end consuming about half of this data could be even less if there is no validity period. I would actually like pay as you consume model. Where i can always recharge for more if my bb connection goes down.

@talyan both mobile should be on same operator to share data packs.

send 'share' to 121
idea method is rip off.
voda doesn't at all.
