Airtel Xstream Broadband: Frequent Disconnection Problem

Recently moved to static IP on Airtel and YES been facing exact issues.
Using Pfsense and Airtel goes down randomly every hour for 2-4 minutes and then come back up.
Have tried different gateway monitoring IP and keeping it on default IP for monitoring but still facing the challenges.
Not sure what else would be required in Pfsense.

@Rajneesh Rana Thanks for your reply. I saw your reply in netgate forum. I am wondering if it is issue with pfsense only related to ARP entry for gateway IP.

For Now I am using OpenWRT to port forward to pfsense as not seeing any issue when using static IP.

I am also thinking of using the Airtel ONT and do port forwarding from it.

As mentioned in Netgate forum I have changed ARP cache timeout from default 1200 (FreeBSD default) seconds to 60 seconds (Linux Default).

[root@pfsense-fw ~]# sysctl net.link.ether.inet.max_age
net.link.ether.inet.max_age: 60

I will update here if it help to resolve issue.

Seems like changing ARP Cache TTL to 60 seconds fixed the issue I was observing. Finally I have resolution to my issue such a relief

I had asked Airtel to enable connection through ONT and disable bridge mode.
Will use this for now.

I do have another issue with Pfsense for another ISP
We have static IP from a leased line and with latest Pfsense version it never shows its status
It only shows as Unknown

With previous version(tested with a new install) everything works fine but with latest version the connection does not show up as Online

have youever faced any such issue under Pfsense?
