Airtel's Smart Combo ULM 2GB plan is a joke

I have the above plan , earlier I was on a higher plan but their broadband service was so pathetic that I decided to stop looking at Airtel as my main broadband provider .I have continued this connection as a fallback and for the landline
Guess what , the other day my regular broadband had a hitch and I am supposedly getting 2GB with 2Mbps under my Smart combo plan and I am paying monthly 550 INR for it ,for the first time when I switched to Airtel broadband in 3 months , it does not work I do not even get continous 256kbps speed for browsing forget 2Mbps ..I do not know what they are charging me INR 550 for monthly .
I needed the landline so I have continued their number ..but the thought that they are taking me for a ride gets me ..Same kind of anger I used to feel when I see the a crooked rickshaw guy showing me his rigged rickshaw meter and asking me to pay more

I agree, but what other alternatives are there. I would switch in an instant if any other ISP offers a better plan but atleast in Chennai, I don't find a lot

I think you should go ahead ! BSNL IMO turns out better than expected. Atleast i can download more data per month instead of that SUPER HIGH SPEED 2mbps till 3GB

There are some initial problems. Once the connection is up and running, it should be fine.

Yes , I think BSNL /MTNL plans definitely offer more value for money ...At least they do not overcharge you for a service that is simply not there ..
