How about a new thread in which people in one state (or nearby, to which they can travel) can pool in orders from AliExpress (or others) and get them shipped using buyandship and other services.

Cause it's very difficult for a single person (at least for me) to make multiple orders since I don't know what to buy other than that one thing xD.

Also another thing is, AliExpress won't ship within China, so have to order to Hong Kong or some other country and shipping would be expensive (China to Hong Kong)

There is Taobao and other sites which cater to local china users, but then it's only in Chinese. 😅

i thought they had huge local sales that generated billions of dollars of sales in a single day inside china :|

kind of impressive now that i find out that this is all international!

AliExpress sells goods from Chinese brands to international residents; Tmall sells goods from global brands to China; and Taobao sells Chinese brands’ goods to people in China.

I am really liking BuyandShip. At 6$ per lb, its damn cheap and they allow consolidation as well (although I never tried it)

Since Buyandship doesn't technically support usage of IEC, its upto the carrier on how an item is cleared cause you might still need to submit the KYC docs to the carrier. In my case, my KYC docs are already with Aramex (IEC and all required documents), so it automatically gets cleared with IEC.
And the other thing is that you can declare the invoice value as you'd like ;) and I have never got any query for additional documentation as part of clearance process. With Aramex ShopAndShip, they don't submit the invoices properly so customs end up asking for more docs delaying clearance.

With respect to time, once the package arrives in their China warehouse (provided you have pre-declared it), the item automatically gets forwarded to their HK warehouse. Once in HK ware house, you can consolidate with other shipments as needed.

China to HK - 3rd day (excluding weekends so if there is a weekend in between, it would take 5 days)
HK to India - Usually gets shipped the next day after payment. In case of my recent shipment, I made the payment on 8th, shipped on 9th, customs cleared today ie 12th. Once cleared, it gets handed over to Delhivery, so another 3 days for me to receive it.

The only issue is, for small items, the customs clearance charge is a lot Rs 354, so would need to bundle items together to save.

@varkey unfortunately, buyandship doesn't allow powerbanks, and many other things. I ordered a keyboard getting it shipped via planet Express. Aseindia shipped it, and its still not delivered. wasted 5k on the keyboard, and 3k shipping via asendia. Planet Express is trying to contact Aseindia, and it's been radio silence ever since.

I found an used FPGA card in AliExpress but the platform is rejecting both of my credit cards. Then I found the same cards on the ebay at around the same price ($30). I registered on the buyandship.in hoping to direct the shipment to the Hong Kong warehouse. But on ebay the seller does not ship to China/Hong Kong/Taiwan/Indonesia. Only choices in the region are Korea/Thailand.

Is it Ok to use the Thailand address (random choice) ?
