Tell me everything about customs,duties,taxes I will have to pay for buying anything from amazon.com US and does the tax applies on the item purchased price or item price+shipping charges ?

Also how much it takes usually for items to be shipped to India from us.

well i order through ishop international which take care of everything. they charge a bit more for the service but i do not have to worry about anything.

Amazon ships many a things to India. They charge customs upfront. Bill in Rs. And shipping reaches in a week. Shipping was free earlier but not now.

Depends on item, if they ship then they take care of it otherwise use shop and ship or ishop international, go their sites and feed info
