Amazon India Support told me that remorse returns are not possible

have been to multiple shops. most do not have it for Nokia 8. and the ones available have the same shitty cutting on them.
i already have fiber(?) material sheet installed on the phone with proper cutouts. but i have to replace it because i bottom area of the phone appears darker which becomes annoying while reading or scrolling on white backgrounds. i can only find out if the problem is with the fiber sheet or the display itself after removing it :P and i do not want to remove it before i can get a suitable replacement :)

this gets pretty darn annoying.

as for brands... mtt is a pretty old brand. i had their tempered glass on my 6p and it lasted through the life of the phone. their customer support was pretty nice when i got it. i have also mailed them directly but haven't received a response yet.

Btw, why do u want tampered glass? Isnt it gorilla glass already?
 
Gorilla glass does not get scratched. (my iPhone and 2011 Sony phone still dont have any scratch)

Crack can occur on bad falls even with tempered glass. But with new glasses even that should not be much of issue.

From GSMarena Nokia 8 has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 - so thats even better.
 
lol. well. both of you are correct. i prefer chat option over email or phone with Amazon customer care because my experience with these folks has been amazing. and i was more or less expecting that the person on the other side would just tell me to file a request and they would take back the product if it does not match the product images. what i got was completely out of the blue. it was hilariously sad.

just two days ago, i had a fun chat with a guy on amazon support. this chat conversation was just full of frustration.
 
lol. a new review was just posted and it also states the same. and the user was able to return it somehow. i guess i would ignore this product listing as it is pretty clear that mtt is selling a different product from the images.
 
ok, I read the whole chat. I would now give the benefit of doubt to the rep - She was just trying to say "If it says Nokia 8" and if the one you receive is for Nokia 8 - you cant return it. But if description says Nokla 8 and in case you get non Nokia 8 they are ok to return it.
