The thread is our form of Egyptian revolution against HAYAI....:@:@:@

Only the difference is that we want hayai to come as soon as possible..and here both the sides are chito-chatting through the net.:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

So really it's not against us, it's against the other providers in favour of us :)

^^^ other providers who?

Other providers who think 256k is acceptable speed for the modern Internet.

I didn't get the exact meaning of this sentence. Is it
1. Against other providers; in favour of you;
or
2. Against other providers; providers who are in favour of you.

1. Against other providers; in favour of us.

Sorry, the part of my brain which handles grammar was temporarily down.

256 k is seriously not an broadband, a broadband should have atleast 1 mbps speeds.
256 k comes under adsl category. infact dsl category.

Now i am thinking what to do with my hathway which is on hold, should i just burn the modem, do experimenting, activate it again, or wait for HAYAI to come.
But that also depends if i'll be outside INDIA then u miss 1 valuable customer "sach92" mg.

If you're outside India, then you can request connection when you come back to India.

No, the thing is that confusions happen, clarifying them is important. You did it, the issue is resolved.

What? ADSL can handle up to 8mbit/s (1mbit/s up) or 24mbit/s (3.5mbit/s up)... various other DSLs handle up to 100mbit/s and they've recently released a type of DSL which does something like 700mbit/s.

What you probably mean is that it should be considered NARROWBAND.

Um. Yeah. Which plan do you plan to go on?

Mumbai users can opt for fivenet till then with 1k(approx) for UP TO 10MBPS.

But wait... From your posts in the Fivenet thread, you say it disconnects often and others are saying they get nowhere near 10mbit/s - some in Navi Mumbai are saying they get 200kbit/s (or kbytes? the posts weren't clear).

Although I admire Fivenet's gall with having this plan, I have to wonder that if they don't have such a stable network, perhaps some other provider is more suitable - maybe Reliance is OK (if anyone other than Sach92 cares to comment) or maybe Spectranet.

Come on guys. Just share your IM's or contact nos and have a conf call. That would save a lot of time. But seriously, Hayai needs to step it up. They need to start their services by the time Matt gets his permits.
