“When Edgar Wright came to us with the idea of Paul Rudd, we felt a huge sense of relief because the first step in creating any Marvel Studios film is finding the right star," said Marvel's Kevin Feige. "We knew early on that we had found the right person in Paul. When he not only agreed to do it but became as enthusiastic as any actor we’d ever met with about doing the work, we knew we’d found the right guy. We couldn’t be more excited for our audiences to see what he’s going to do to bring Ant-Man to life.”

Michael Douglas has confirmed he will have a role in the upcoming Marvel superhero film, Ant-Man

He will play Henry "Hank" Pym, the creator of the technology used to shrink a human to the size of an insect.
Anchorman star Paul Rudd, 44, has already announced that he will be playing the part of Scott Lang, Ant-Man's alter-ego.
"I've been dying to do a Marvel picture for so long," said Douglas.
"The script is really fun, the director is really good. Dylan [the actor's 13-year-old son] will love it. He'll have a picture he can see."
Hank Pym first appeared in the 27th issue of Marvel Comics series Tales to Astonish in January 1962.
