Tata Indicom 4mbps NU
I just got mail with following details:

Dear XXXX,
Hope you have been burning the midnight oil and enjoying the benefits of our Night Unlimited plan.

In order to ensure that we keep providing you with the best service in terms of speed we have increased the rate of our Night Unlimited plan from Rs 99 to Rs 299 per month.

Your current Night Unlimited plan will be automatically deactivated on the date of expiry of your plan. We recommend that you activate your night unlimited plan again at Rs. 299, to continue enjoying unlimited night surfing.

You can activate the Night Unlimited plan in any of the following ways:

1. Login to the 'My Tariff Plan' section in 'My Account' and activate the Night Unlimited Plan

2. Call Customer Service in your city. The customer service executive will activate/deactivate the plan after verifying your details i.e. username and installation address

3. By writing to [email protected]

For further clarifications on the Night Unlimited plan, visit us at www.tataindicombroadband.in or email us at [email protected] or call the Customer Service in your city.

Best Regards,

Has anybody got similar mails???
Tata has certainly doing very bad thing by discontinuing NU for Rs. 99 for exising customers.:wall::wall:

i already know abt this issue coz my friend recd call from tata rep abt it ....and old customer will have to renew with new prepaid plans :wall:

@ChaitanyaBut I got this mail only 2 days back. I was hoping that they will continue to provide NU for old customers at 99 only. Now it seems they won't. Also they price of 2mbps time-based plans is also increased. This is not at all good for customers.

i think they kept plan for 6 months, as it is reqed by TRAI.

aah... just checked my Tata webmail. I too have received the same mail. Its bye-bye to Tata BB from my side in the very near future. My account expires on 20th Aug. and I have more than 3K rupees in it!! I have to finish it before leaving them.

u can use them by buying additional services (like VoIP calls)but i wonder how come u have so much money? i wud never keep money more than for abt 1 month plan.

Nope.

There ain't any partiality. These lazy people are going to increase prices for lame reasons. Even I was planning to take this plan but after reading horrible experiences of tata indicom users, i decided to stay away from this nightmare.

Actually I rarely use this connection during day time. I had BSNL for date time work earlier and now I use a combination of Airtel and Reliance for daily works and Tata BB for night downloads.

well, as soon as i saw the new time based plan rates. I just put in a 1 year order in queue which will go live soon.now i gotta reactivate nightg unlimited at 299i dont really use it during the day time. But i hate spending more than i should
