Anyone got Reliance Big TV DTH?

Also the Picture quality is not very good.Its like Tata Sky and sundirect only.Not much difference
I am not agree on it. I have both connections of DTH and uncle have Dish TV. I can say BIG Tv is among 3 is best and picture quality is far better. We can see bad picture quality of Zee Channels in TS and Star Channels in Dish Tv but I found everything in good condition on BIG TV.

Hi Santosh.S the audio was very good.They have connected the 5.1 HomeTheater sorround speakers in the showroom,so the Audio was awesome.I watched isaiaruvi and the audio was very nice. Mr.India The picture quality may be slightly better on BigTv than other dth,that's all,But when i see the tv screen the BigTv Logo is very disturbing.It is big and red in color,not a watermark logo like sundirect or Tata Sky.BigTV Should take the logo and put that at the bottom right like other dth players do.:thumbsup:
Apart from more choice, cheaper rates, HD etc, I have been waiting for BigTV mainly to get significantly better audio/video quality. Didn't want to move from analog noise to digital noise, read noticeable artifacts, lack of resolution! I am hearing consistent good reviews about audio part, but video seems to be debatable:wall
radip, are you getting biased with the logo in your judgment? How would you rate picture quality if we ignore that (assuming that it shall be fixed because of public demand

only the resolution is good the digital artifacts keeps increasing when the channels are increased.if they add more channels the quality will surely suck.so forget about HD channels.they just dont have the transponders for that as of now.

We read in article that BIG TV have 8 Transponders and we are watching channels on 7 Transponders means 1 is still there. Also they are adding 4 more by year end which means bigtv use 12 TP which is enough for 300 chanenls.
I think most of our popular channels are already air on any DTH. I am sure hardly 10% of Indians watch non GEC, Non Movies, news and Sports channels.But people needs only CHannel numbers. Fact is hardly anone can see more than 10 channels for more than 30 min/day.
