Apple iOS

So, it would be better to wait for a whole before jumping into the update. Any conflicts or app noticed which is not compatible.

I was using Beta 6 till today morning and tried to update to the final version via iTunes.
But the installation failed and Apple iPod Touch rebooted in recovery mode.
After 1 failed attempt, i have successfully restored the device to factory settings and updated to iOS 7 final version.
Now i am restore the backup and it going on and on and on for more than 3 hours.
Even now Apple iTunes is saying about an hour to go.
Fingers crossed.

It's better looking that iOS 6 for sure, but that's mostly because iOS 6 looks like it was designed in 2002. I don't see anything groundbreaking in iOS 7 either, I have had it crash over me numerous times in the beta version. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Installed iOS 7 on my iPhone 4 last night. Installation was painless and the experience is really smooth. Less choppier than iOS 6, I feel. Just let it sit for a few hours after updating while it indexes the contents of your iPhone. Also, reset all settings, if you update.

Well the changes are largely cosmetic and some functionality changes. Well, at least you don't need a separate flashlight application.
AFA application compatibility goes, even apps not upgraded to iOS 7 compatibility work perfectly fine. Battery drain seems to be higher on my iPhone than iOS 6.1.4. iPad battery performance is alright though, but on the iPad the OS looks like a up-stretched version of the phone OS - doesn't have a native feel on the iPad.
