Hi, m thinkin to buy a phone for my sis. m little bit confused which to buy, AppleiPhone or the Blackberry Storm?I hve heard many thngs abt both the handsets. Good & bad...Need some suggestions from you people... Which one is better and why?
iPhone and storm are good only till the time one requires to read mails. When it comes to replying, both the phone are worthless.
If you need to reply to even 5 mails daily, you need a full qwerty phone and you will repent buying a touchscreen phone.
It seems OP's need are more media centric. Get the Iphone.............
and waste your money on a so called smartphone
Iphone is a money making gimmickof Apple. Get a real phone !
my friend had a terrible experience with his HTC Smartphone.he has a p3300. which i find terribly underpowered. i am not sure how powerful the new phones from HTC are. but the model he has sucks. anyways, his phone's turn on/off button stopped working a while ago. his phone was under warranty so he went to the htc service center here in gurgaon. the service center also catered to Sony Ericsson people. in fact the shop's outside face had only Sony Ericsson banners. i looked around and failed to find out the HTC service center. only when we called up the dude we realized that the sony center was also the service center of HTC...anyways... the dude at the shop said that the button was broken up due to mishandling and it would not be covered under the warranty. he then charged him around 900 rupees to open up the phone and solder the button back to its position on the mobile motherboard like base. half of that amount was related to 'parts' while the rest was added in the name of labor charges. this is htc for you and me.
Have used HTC P3300 for about an year, both in India and abroad....and i should say this has been one of the best. Build quality is undoubtedly better than my present Nokia navigator and ericssons for sure. I had dropped the phone around 4-5 times, and each time is survived.....and worked..!!
