AFAIK they dont repair anything in india in Apple stores. if you break your screen and its out of warranty and apple care, you only have the option to pay 24k and get a new iPhone from them. or get it done from local markets.

and this was bound to happen. we've been paying almost close to 1l kah for higher end models for a few years now. seeing americans go crazy at 1000 USD price was lolworthy

apparently it'll cost close to 1500$ in norway

My friend had iPhone 5s. There was some minor issue with phone. He went to Apple store, and since phone was within warranty period, they replaced phone with new phone for free. He was very happy and explained importance of paying huge amount to Apple, as we are almost paying price of 2 phones at once.

^^ Still it is costly. I invested 1L in an IPO today.
If at all I have to spend 30-35K, I would buy Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. A far better and sexier design than iPhone X.
That would also mean buying a new and better phone every year. Whichever way you look at it, 1L phone is plain wrong even if you can afford it. Currently, all three iPhone 7 Pluses in my house can survive for 2 more years if battery holds. I have no plans to upgrade even to iPhone 8 Pluses.

Apple is getting too greedy. 90k for a phone is just day light robbery. Making cost of the phone will be around 20k, and they sell it 5 times the price, ridiculous.

My guess it 79k starting price wiht Paytm , Probably payTM will give 10k CB? with somebank offer of 10k and I'll buy this shit right away for 70k but 90k, I can't even justify that price to myself , let alone to my gf or parents.

did they give him boxed piece? my friend got a brand new looking piece but employee told us that its not brand new but a refurbished one. but refurbishing is done by apple itself so its as good as new. phone looked brand new tho so we accepted

btw they also increased ipad pro prices by 50$. I expect to see price increase here as well in another few days
