lol. wait for a few weeks. pixel 2 xl display issues are so glaring that people are canceling their pre-orders in america. iPhone x should not have display issues as they are using samsung panels iirc but it definitely should get some cashback offers because of the high price once the initial euphoria calms down.
Cashbacks are to cash in on the initial euphoria no? If there aren't any at launch I don't think there will be any post that (unless there are any offers around those new year online sales). And with X being in short supply I don't think the price will fall as quickly as the 7 or 8 either. Strangely no offers on Pixel 2 either. Citi is still offering cashbacks on the 8 though.
And desi resellers being the unprofessional guttersnipes they are didn't even wait for the 27th to start the pre-order. Most are already fully pre-booked and are now offering deliveries within 2-3 weeks post launch.
