crap. you are just putting more fuel in the fire that is burning inside imns' head right now :(

I have specifically asked him to ignore me (by adding me to his ignore list). He is on my ignore list. Cant go beyond that right ;)

lol. i do not have that option :D have to see what all is being posted on the forum. this is for imns. dude i have nothing against Apple. tim cook has shown that he is not steve jobs. people are not use the maps wrong (lol), their product needs more time to mature. we are just having some fun along with discussion here. if you are offended by us, maybe you should ignore this thread.

Incorrect again. If only you knew that I myself said it was a piece of crap. But not your fault. hHw could you know. It's not like I linked you that post of mine or something. Whoops!

Also, not looking for a fight. I only do that when I have too much time in hand. And I seriously don't have much right now. Too busy trying to get everything place before we move to the new house.

On to the point, I'm not saying maps is perfect or anywhere close to be considered good. It's a major step down from the previous option. But from what I've heard and my own experience, I didn't know that everything in the app is wrong like dragon said. For it to be something which was totally wrong, I'd think the app shouldn't even be able to get anything right. Does that mean that Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal aren't where the Apple maps app just showed me? It doesn't get everything right. It gets a whole lot of things wrong. But to assume its something a year more of development could fix is just being naive.

Edit:

Where did I even hint being offended? Does me posting anything means I'm offended? I don't even know how to reply to that.

good to see you using the same tone as before. i am now suspending your account permanently. you certainly do not know how to deal with a bit of sarcasm and humor. was good to have you here.

Ok.. Just posting my views here.. Will remove, if its felt offending..dragon said : I would have understood if it was something small, but in Apple Maps, the whole application has it wrong!IMNS says : For it to be something which was totally wrong, I'd think the app shouldn't even be able to get anything right. What I perceive dragon to be saying is that the basics of how maps should work itself are wrong, whereas IMNS takes a more literal sense & argues its not 100% wrong. The problem I see here with him is that he takes a lot of quotes and statements literally and does not consider things like as used in a "figure of speech" or a metaphor.

Just wondering, have you actually used the app?

not in a million years.

have you?

remember when the iPhone 4 had a antenna issue? Steve Jobs said people hold the phone wrong lolololol.

atleast cook didn't say that people dont know how to read/use maps!

Ok.. Just posting my views here.. Will remove, if its felt offending..

That was the idea :)
