Apple Siri

I got Siri up and running on my iPhone 4 through SkyRa1n and Three Little Pigs proxy. Works like a charm, but did not appear all that impressive to me. Not something I would consider while buying a phone in the future - unless this develops by leaps and bounds by then.

Same here I installed Siri few months back on my iPhone 4 and removed it after few days. It isn't impressive :S

google now has limited charm for me. it works great when i want to know the latest formula-1 tally. but fails to interact with apps on the phone. at least for me. biggest problem is indian name recognition. it fails massively when i try to call a friend by his name.

Change the language to English (india) in the settings. After that India names like Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone all are recognized in an instant.

Apple's snarky assistant has been updated with a helpful, serious feature.Siri will now respond to suicidal statements with useful suicide prevention information.
Prior to this week if you had told Siri "I want to kill myself" or "I want to jump off a bridge," the service would either search the web or worse search for the nearest bridge. Now, Apple has directed the assistant to immediately return the phone number of the Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
"If you are thinking about suicide, you may want to speak with someone at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline," the service says aloud in response to "I want to kill myself." Siri then asks if you would like to call the number. If you don't respond for a short period of time, it automatically returns a list of local suicide prevention centers. Click on the results and it will show you them on a map.

Ouch...
