Cool I guess. In any case, a 5K set top box is a very useful device as it would make your 2-3-4 year old television set a Smart TV. And of course, you can replace it, upgrade it and throw it away. You can also use it on multiple television sets, resell it, loan it... etc. etc.
 
The problem is that set top box are provided by cable guys.They mostly have cheap options.I have seen only Asianet provided Cisco set top boxes to their clients.In Mumbai the quality of set top box is on decline.First it used to be from koream companies like HUmax now they are all giving out chinese.devices from companies like skyway who sell their set top boxes at as low as 8$ fob china.
