Yes, thats true, even mentioned in their website too that Static IP will be charged extra ....

I don't think there is a way to bypass the login screen :confused:Regarding getting a Broadband connection, I mailed them my address (PIN code is important) my contact number etc..They replied to me within 24 hours to confirm whether or not they could provide, provide me a connection.

So, They reverted or not after 24 hrs, bcoz in mine case they didn't

so no way to get rid of the login screen? this is a major headache in itself. i guess i would be using them till airtel sort out their mess. what a freaking mess they have created for me.

Why don't you use something that easy to get rid of easily? Like Tata Photon+ or something similar, which requires less infrastructure and paperwork, and is relaxed. BSNL 3G data card? Going for a new connection altogether (and then getting it disconnected in a few months) would be a big pain IMO.

Actually I mailed at some other department then they forwarded my inquiry request to the Broadband department.I think I have the mail saved somewhere, let me see if I can post something.@ IndianScot! If you read properly I have mentioned that they replied to me.

i am sitting in the basement where normal mobile phone calls get dropped after 20 seconds.

----------

i am taking this as an experiment. to see where reliance stands in gurgaon. so that i can comment about its quality of service with authority. :D

think of it as an investment. i am paying to review a product/service. :P

Do 1 thing, Find out the local cable guy who has taken the franchisee of Reliance Broadband. And tell him to give you a connection on a priority basis.

Filling the form & calling CC will never help you with Reliance.

----------

Reliance have outsourced there connection maintenance to the local cable guys.

already filled the form. 1500 check. 1000 for one month prepaid. 500 installation charges. no bill for first month. connection before monday. this is what i have been told. let's see how it turns out. :)
