Still not too late, ignore e-mails and calls, do not accept/sign for bills or mail sent by courier or registered post, and if somebody visits you go vernacular on them, "oy, kitthe hai toda connection, tusi b***di.."

I did the same for Airtel Broadband. Removed Cables and DP myself and when Airtel Guys visited for payment, I asked them where is the connection and they were shocked ;)

----------

@ Sushubh: So , did you reverted them back with CAF Number ??

i don't think i have the forms with me anymore. would have to search for them. :(

PM me your Broadband number. I can try to get the CAF Number. I have some Jugaads there. ;)

nope could not find them. sucks.

----------

dude. i did not get the connection!

Ohh !!! Then form would be required for Termination. Bcoz if you don't provide the CAF Number, they won't be able to process termination. Last option would be when you recieve the Bill. Just Note down the Account number when bill is delivered and don't recieve the bill ;)

so basically... they activated the connection before they received the payment and i received the connection. how awesome is that. heh.

Untill and unless you can provide CAF number, its unsure whether connection is activated or not ? But some companies have provision to charge activation fee in bill also. So there can be chances that connection might be activated. In case any time you got the form number, share it will me. Would confirm you the status :)

there is a saying in hindi "jab okhli main sar diya hai to musal to padhenge hee" and also another one that applies to this thread "aa bail mujhe maar"

heh. well. i tried escaping at the very last moment. but they still caught me!

it is getting annoying. when you call them to get support, you get terrible response.

and you post one little rant on a forum/blog/twitter/facebook and this is what happens.

in any case, responding to this mail is not going to help at all. they need me to have some form of a identification number which i do not have. i can only wait for a potential bill to arrive before i can settle this issue.
