AFAIK...even Philips media player which costs around Rs.5k plays not more than 640x480 resolution. But Asus for Rs.3.6k plays 1920x1080

Im pretty sure Philips media player (HMP5000) supports 1080p. Which one are you talking about?

Sorry Kalyan for replying late.I ordered it but seems its out of stock and didnt get it anywhere.Got the WD Tv live and its brilliant as well.If you guys care will post a review.
