I subscribed for their newsletter about an year ago and got interested in the product after Hero motocorp invested in the develpment.
Hero MotoCorp-backed Ather launches e-scooter S450, priced at Rs 1.09 lakh
In October 2016, Hero MotoCorp invested Rs 205 crore in the Indian startup by picking up 26-30 percent stake.

chalo. this means that they are not likely to just disappear in a few months after selling a bunch of scooters!

their business model still does not make sense for cities that does not have a high IT population where companies have large campuses with enough parking space where they can install their charging stations.

most cities are just too congested and have limited parking space around offices.
