There's reasons why MS Office is not used sometimes - bloat, too deep tying-in with windows, etc. And then, (if you're honest) COST = EXPENSIVE !
OpenOffice is the alternative, but its just too heavy and slow. AbiWord is too light and feature-less for its own good!.
