Audio Video Connections of SUN DTH STB

Hi,I have fixed S-Video cable. The quality is slightly better than the normal RCA Cable video out. Does anyone have any idea about quality of audio? CVBS and S/PDIF sockets used for what purpose ? How do we use Rs 232 connection ? Please give some technical information on these. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I tried to connect S-Video cable From STB to PC TV Tuner (HVR-1100) Card, i am able to view video but not the Audio. right now i have connected RCA cable. since S-Video Cable quality is slightly better than the normal RCA Cable video out, it would be great to record some programs in Media center with good picture quality. Please help me.


One more question...I have purchased RCA to VGA Cable so that i can watch Sun Direct channels in my computer monitor without turning on my computer. but, it does not give any picture. even i tried to connect it with TV. I called my Monitor Company technical support.....they said i have to purchase one converter. Do i need to but it??
