Is there any way that dataone be dialed automatically on startup in bridging mode???Also there is a problem that while downloading with link-removed my download speed fluctuates a lot between 2KBps-28 KBps , while from other server it does not varies that much?????My plan is HOME UL 750

@naveen_reloadedBasically there are 2 ways to connect to the internet using ADSL BB Service.1) Bridge mode: Where you can connect / disconnect your connection to the internet just like dialup service.2) PPPoE (Always On): Where the username & password for your connection is stored in the modem itself and the modem connects to your ISP as soon as the modem is switched on. You are instantly connected to the internet. There is no connect / disconnect option. to stop internet you need to either switch off the modem or remove the ethernet cable or disable the LAN connection.@deepak_anandThere was some script I used to put in my dial-up connection years back to get instant connection on startup. try googling..

@deepak_anandDo you use any download manager while downloading stuff from link-removed?most download managers use multiple connections to boost download speed and link-removed does not support multiple connection. Hence download speed from link-removed might fluctuate more as compare to downloads from other sites. You might have noticed that downlaods from link-removed and other file hosting services are not resume supported i.e. you cannot pause a download and then after some time again resume downloading from the point you paused it.

Hey - I have a bridging connection using BNSL Type I modem. If I make it PPoE and automatically connect it's not working.Strangely enough when I'm using bridging connection the data light on the modem is off. Can you help in configuring the same to PPoE so that it can connect automatically when I start windows. Please not that I am not using any router. Thanks in advance.

Please mentionModem - model and makeDuring bridge mode, data LED will not blink.
