automatic night downloading problem

hi i have home plan 500 with night unlimited........now i have a software that makes my computer wakes up at 2 am and connects to the net and starts my torrent download...but recently i am facing a problem....after my pc wakes automatically and starts downloading , after some time like 1 hour my connection freezes and it stops downloading . i cannot check the status of the connection as well....i have to restart the computer .....then it works fine. pls help with this...

Which software are you using for automation ? Try Imran's Broadband Helper utility. Or you can try batch files in Bridge mode.

i am using auto power on and shut down...i am using batch file to connect my bridge connection....i am using windows 7.....

I think Imran's has a facility to redial if connection is lost. But for this you need to be in PPPoE

HiI had same problem,,,When i start downlaod at night ,,,modem would stuck in some times....so no downloads...and i had to only RESTART MODEMI donno how i solved it...I was using BRIDGE MODE...after that i always make PPPoE at night and start downloading,,,Modem is never stuck after doing PPPoE mode...Donno if there was problem 4 meBUT TRY TO MAKE YOUR MODEM PPPoE

i sorted out the problem...i went to device manager----->Network Adapters------> LAN.in power management i uncheked the box saying---turn off the device to save power....worked well atleast yesterday will see it today again
