umm i just got one idea. one criteria cud be posts per day.say > 1.5?that wud indicate how active user is on forumso an old user even with 500 posts wud not be eligible if he is not active.

Maybe that would leave me out. I avoid posting sometimes, and just take a look around and go away. I have not posted for like weeks and then start posting regularly again.

yeah number of posts perday is not a good criteria.. wud leave out persons who do not post for a while...which could be due to many reasons

So again the best suggestion still remains: 500 posts & atleast 6 months on the forums.

1.5 is approx figure and i dont mean that posts per day be the only criteria.. i said one criteria cud be that.so 500 posts and 6 months wud mean a known userplus posts per day wud indicate active user.
