there may be very old users who were quiet active earlier and achieved the basic criteria of 500 posts and 6 months. but then no more active and then all of sudden they re=visit forum and they have direct access to backroom. we shud avoid that.

Those guys are very few, if they are, and can request access through a PM. Moreover we have about 30-40 people max who we would want to be in the Backroom, so my suggestion is we ask Prathap to do all the work, and allow people individually by PM requests. That, by far, remains the most effective methods to prevent lamers from gettting inside.

Entry by posts per day is a stupid idea . Even i never post on forum for 2-3 days until i find a topic which needs a post . This will just increase "lol","thank you" and other one word posts .600+ posts and minimum 6 months is good enough.

600+ posts will not increase amt of "lol", "thank u"?best is to add to backroom only by PM and reputation (not rep power one)but if one has to make it automatic then criteria shud be more strict.
