I am so confused. This game is awesome but if I and every other BF fanatic will buy it for 3500 then EA will win the price war which might result in further hike. Dunno what to do :/
Well don't worry. EA has already won the price war. India is such a small gaming market that it hardly matters to them.
And the console versions anyways cost about 3500. I remember buying BF3 for around that cost + the premium subscirption for about 1200 + the shortcut packs for 1500 or so. So moneywise BF3 alone has cost me to the tune of 6000. :D
Anyways, the price rise is due to the fact that people from other countries would download the games at Indian prices using VPNs and proxy, and EA wanted to counter that move.

one of my frn was invited to the beta of this and after watching it am sorry but i will have to buy it :( damm you E.A.this game is taking fps to a totally different level it is more of open world instead of liner corridor shootout plus a lot of things we wanted in BF3 are in BF4.

I suppose if they managed to put out a good product, they deserve to charge a good price for it! The complaint has been largely about shitty updates bundled as brand new games for a higher price tag!

yep this is def worth the money and this coming from a guy who swore never to buy E.A games after the mess up of mass effects 3 and the screw up of micro transactions in dead space 3. but guys save up on money this will be a very cpu intensive game and will make some gpus and and even cpus cry under load.

Loved. Totally loved the beta.3.5k sounds too much for a game but this does deserve it :)
Don't forget premium. 6k in total. Oh and going by fact they have announced premium so soon, don't be surprised by premium+.

Yeah.. premium. But there wont be anything like premium+ for sure. Nowadays its a trend to release all the great stuff in DLCs only :/
