Well the nearest servers are in East Asia. I am on PS3 on 8mbps, and best pings are 3 bars. Too bad there are no India servers.
There was a one-shot-kill bug which got sorted today. Yeah, in addition to that, you could be a victim of lag or bad netcode.
Yeah even i hv 8mbps on Airtel. Seem to find it tough to aim and kill. i played BF4 beta in singapore on PC seemed very easy to aim and kill.was thinking if is because of controller or something else.

Played for a couple of hours last night. Laggy gameplay and low FPS on PS3 in intense firefights. Went back to play BF3. BF4 is a torture to play on current-gen consoles and in India with bad pings.
I purchased BF3 premium the day it came out. For BF4 I will not be purchasing premium, till they fix the game. Heck I pre-ordered the game for 3500 bucks, and it isn't even worth it, at all.

Waiting for the price of battlefield 4 to drop. It was for Rs. 1800 on Amazon.com. Has anyone got anything from Amazon.com? How much time does it take to ship the order from USA? Did we get the goods reliably? It was for similar price on origin during December deals but that sh!t didn't allow me to pay through debit card. Only credit card was available. Anyways, I have a good news for battlefield 4 players. Their representative told me that EA is thinking of setting up servers in India due to demand from customers.

Amazon won't ship hard copies to India. You can get if from origin Mexico for ~2.4k using VPN or proxy. Origin was also giving 15% off recently, though I don't remember the coupon code.
As far as the servers are concerned, Hypernia rents it but charges a premium for it due to the high cost of infrastructure and bandwidth. I do not think that there would be any other provider. Certain individuals had it running but those ended up ddosed.

But I can add battlefield 4 (dvd) to my cart on Amazon.com and it even let's me checkout. I don't want to download the nearly 30gig game on 512kbps speed, so origin mexico/India are useless. Does Amazon UK ship the dvd? They have bf4 for 2.5k

Have you added Indian address on Amazon? Try to checkout with Indian address, and it'll reject it.
What you can do is buy the digital version and get the files from your friends nearby, or get the pirated reloaded dvds and use those files. Those files will work with the legit copy as I've the same. All you have to do is extract the files instead of installing it via reloaded installer. You'll have to download the patches regardless of which version you get.

Try Amazon.in, strange people haven't noticed that Amazon India went live some months back. I would advise against ordering the game in its current state. Its majorly broken, netcode issues are severe on multiplay, not to mention CTDs. 3 months on and they still haven't improved it a bit after a dozen patches. By the time they do fix it, it would be much cheaper. It is really sad how EA has managed to kill Battlefield franchise with a rushed release. It's sad, because the game is just wonderful when it works, and that rarely happens.

Amazon India doesn't have Battlefield 4 and even if it had it would sell it at Indian M.R.P. It won't import products from Amazon US/UK and sell it here at a discounted price, which is why people look overseas for offers.

@ asg, I can't wait if I get a deal because I am a battlefield series fan and I know that I will have to buy bf4 someday.;).... Also, Amazon India does not sell video games. @krusnlk, can you please elaborate on that exchanging the reloaded and legit files part?

What I meant is that you can use the files on reloaded DVD to play with a legit key via origin. You need to install origin. Use the key to add BF4 to origin. Download ~5MB through origin. Quit origin. Now extract the files on Reloaded DVD[3disc ~8GB each], do not run the installer. Copy these files to origin games folder replacing the Battlefield 4 folder there. Now start origin and resume download. It will recognize the files and will start downloading the patches.
