This ****ing beam is still not upto the mark when it comes to providing battery backup upto 4 hours. I think as per TRAI regulations, ISP must provide 4 hours of battery backup...I had this issue some months ago and was fixed after a visit to their center....now i see that the customer care guy is argueing that they only provide 1 hour of battery backup....what can be done to fix this ??

lol@ 4hrs. Customercare guy said that it'll provide max2 hrs backup for me. My friend who lives barely 4 kms on the other side of track gets battery backup but my connection dies the moment power goes. Complained on their FB page but no response.

i am fed up with beam when it comes to battery back up... I think BSNL has new plan for hyderabad. They are providing 2Mbps upto 10GB and 512kbps after FUP for 625/- I am seriously planning to change to BSNL...

Yes ..they do seem to have an shortage of batteries :| BSNL works even during power cuts :] Post your complaint on their official fb page mentioning that you'll shift out of beam if they don't provide backup. Their online team solved my problems many times excluding abt battery backup

I had this issue crop up 3 months ago when the backup battery which earlier used to gimme 3 hours of back up wasn't even giving 15 minutes. I made a couple of calls to the Help line and then a week later went and sat in the local branch office saying this is the issue. They sent over a person who installed a brand new battery. Works fine now.

For how much time did you sit in their office? -_- They should have changed the first time i complained. Still not resolved. but i don't really need back up.

beam does not have nodal officers? i thought it was mandatory for telecom and broadband companies to have nodal officers?

i used to get 20-30 min of internet after powercut initially a year ago..now its barely 10 min..so 4 hrs backup is a rule?did not know that..
