Beetel 450 Bx1 power problem

Hi All,I have Beetel 450 bx1 router got along with Airtel connection.In my area we are repeatedly having power cuts. I want Backup for this router.Its specification says 12 V and 800mA. Will the UPS used for computers provide 3-4 hours backup for this device? Or Is there any other better option?Also I have internal modem with my laptop. Can i use my internal laptop modem instead of Beetel router provided by Airtel? If yes then what are pros and cons of that?Regards,Ramesh Bende

yah u can use the same ups for supplying power to modem....

Probably 56Kbps Voice/fax /Data modem for sancharnet and Netone
dial up connections. Not suitable for broadband. adsl use.

12VDC 800ma = 9.6W or say 10Watts primary 10W/230V= 50 ma in primary approx
230 x 50/1000= 11 VA from UPS. VA= VxI=W
