The FW available in Wiki seems same.
works both for 110Bx1 and 450Bx1 ?

Where is the reset button or reset access for 450BX ?


i havent tried the FW on wiki ...when i called airtel the engineer told me it must be a virus problem...i challenged him to show one virus...reluctantly he changed the modem...i was using wi-fi on a compaq peesario 3225au with nvidia...the laptop burnt to death a couple of days ago with repair bill of 25k although after a internet check the service centre guys repaired it free of cost - global nvidia problem.....i will recheck the wi-fi when i get it back. There is no reset button outside...may be it is inside..i will open it soon.

i am having " THU-0Q-003 " while the new FW posted by ws is THU-0Q-005 ,the routers back is having the serial no. and " THU-0Q-003 " label.Its a Aug08 manufacture. If the problem continues i will call airtel for refund.

@other 450bx owners - please describe the disconnection problem

Problem
RESET switch or access in 450BX1
There is no reset button outside...may be it is inside..i will open it soon.
Please check the bottom of the unit. We located a round
access hole ( rest were square air vents )
in another wifi router.
A normal user will not open the unit.

alright. please provide me the detail of the modem model and the firmware... i would post it on the wiki so that the link does not go down and we have a single location to forward the interested users to.

Beetel 450BX1 firmware Ver 3.12L.01 (India Broadband Wiki) we already have a file here. can anyone confirm if this is an old firmware?

Beetel 450BXi problem
i am using beetel 450bxi + adsl router modem. i have already configured the modem username and password settings. but i got a problem when browser the net i got a error like 678, 679 after 10minutes only connected the net(BSNL). i checked the phone line and splitter, modem cable, and lan cable all good. i reseted modem and update firmware all done. but my problem is continues..............

me too needed for 220BX, n, the beetel side says, be careful while upgrading firmware, its always dangerous as should be correct one..............

All worked well for 2 days but now following message shows up frequently.

What could be the cause and solution.
