Beetel 450bxi not working after reset

MY INTERNET WAS NOT WOKING WELL SO I TRIED TO RESET IT BY USING A PEN AND PRESSED THE RESET BUTTON ON THE BACK SIDE FOR 30 SECONDS UNIT THE MODEM RESTARTED AFTER RESETTING THE MODEM IS NOT TAKING THE IP ADDRESS AND THE MODEM CONFIGURATION SITE 192.168.1.1 IS ALSO NOT OPENING ,ALL THE LIGHTS ARE WORKING ON THE MODEM WHEN I TRY TO RENEW THE IP ADD NOTHING HAPPENS.

Solved by user by resetting the modem,and changing Obtain Ip address automatically to(Windows IP address was auto selected. and No gateway)192.168.1.10255.255.255.0192/168.1.1Modem settings accessed. Working Ok now.

I got hold of this same model router beetel 450BXi ADSL2+ Router. Hooked it into my Mac, Own IP: 192.168.1.10, Mask and Gateway/Router as you mentioned. Unable to access nor ping the router. Any ideas on how to get it to work?
I tried the above after a hard reset (30-30-30), even though that may not be applicable in this case. Also, I have been looking for the manual for this router - if you manage to get your hands on it, please do let know.
Update: Also hooked this up to a Windows 8 machine - LAN Status remains at nothing connected.
