@ YUGA: If the sticky thing doesn't happen please can you create a separate GDrive account and host TP_Link's F/W there and then share the link here and everywhere so that the F/W is available to all if at all TP-Link decides to pull the plug on it someday. I am sure folks like us will bless you for that

Hello W5577 , thank you for those generous comments . There are many routers like the Airtel and BSNL ones which really have a great potential to work on . I think it has been more than 6-7 months and the airtel model has been rock solid and has never been rebooted as well . The range is better than most of the 150 mbps routers off the shelf and nearly as good as many 300N routers . Can you please help me with creating a Gdrive account and post the link if that is not much of a hassle for you ? I am not much into forum boards and they tend to be confusing for me .

Hi Everyone. Posting this just to confirm that TD-W8951ND_V5_141114 (the firmware with some improvements and bugs fixed) has been tested on my Beetel 450 TC2. It is stable and woking fine on the device.

If you can open the box and note down the chip or if u can send a high res pic , i will be able to give you an appropriate fw upgrade . If anyone is in chennai , and can loan me a tc1 I can try

You have solved the problem of many by finding and giving them a better firmware for Beetel 450 TC2.

Now, I want to update the firmware of my Beetel 450 TC 1 (a better firmware like you found for TC2) and I guess many others are also willing to do the same. So, I am here to provide you with some details about Beetel 450 TC1.

CPU : TRENDCHIP TC3162P2-PQ208G
RAM : WINBOND W9812G6IH-6 (16 Mib)
FLASH : WINBOND 25X16VSIG (2 MiB)
SWITCH : IC+ IP175C LF
WI1 CHIP1 : RALINK RT2561ST
WI1 CHIP2 : RALINK RT2527L
ADSL2+ : TRENDCHIP TC3085-TQ64-EPG

Also, a high-resolution image of the same can also be viewed if required.
One device's specification which closely matches to Beetel TC1's is Billion BiPAC 5200G R4 (one difference is that it has 8 Mib of RAM).
Kindly suggest on what can or should be done.

Guys did anyone get the firmware for 450 TC1 to unlock the capabilities? Does anyone know the equivalent TP-Link model to download from?
