Best dongle for New Delhi?

Hello,

While I wait to get my broadband service setup, I'd like to purchase a dongle. Preferably a Wi-Fi dongle. What's the best service and plan that I can get? I'll be using it mostly in the Vasant Kunj area of New Delhi.

Get an unlocked CDMA dongle. Might not give extremely high speeds, but much more reliable and cost effective as compared to GSM. Do not buy a locked dongle in any case.

WiFi ones seem to be out of stock, here is a non WiFi one which can plug into a router.

Beyond this, if a WiFi dongle is a must, you can go for GSM/3G, would be an expensive proposition though.

While cdma data is much cheaper, let me know your budget if you want to go with GSM/3G.

I went for Tata Docomo Wi-Fi dongle. I went to four shops and they all told me MTS one sucks and the one they all recommended was Tata Docomo. Hopefully it is good. Got it for 2,150 for the dongle + 10 GB data.

From my point of view purchasing a Dongle of any specific Telecom Service Provider is not a good deal. The best ways to use Dongle is buying a Huawei 3g Wi-Fi dongle and then choose the SIM of service provider that provider better network coverage and best internet speed in your location.
