Hello Forum Friends, I have purchased SD in 2008. Right from day one the horrible exp. started. Today, I'm repenting so much to have purchased this connection. Earlier I wanted to go for Dish or TS, but felt SD is south indian and I should go for it. But I never knew that I was committing suicide. Here is a brief exp. of my horrible SD relation. After 7 days of calling the SD Vizag distributors finally they arrived to setup the connection. They didnt have enough wire to setup the connection in my TV in drawing room. Again they took 2days to come back for the installation. Somehow they were abe to finish it off. After that the issue of activation. It took atleast 8days to activate the new connection. Dont know how many times I have called the CC but to no use. After getting the picture I was happy and forgot all the bad exp. with SD. Till 1 year, there were no hassles and everything went smooth. Then came the next issue. I brought a new TV and called local SD suuport to shift of the SD connection in drawing room to my bedroom. A call to local SD distributor atleast 70-90 times till i got some1 to respond to me. After taking the call they took 2 weeks to come to my home. Somehow again they have shifted it. From 2009 May, I started to recharge my account and they the endless troubles started. RCVs are not available everywhere, I have to go 10kms to get an RCV. Many a times i tried using the Ccard and purchased the RCVs from third party seller online. But, it was a uphill task to recharge my account. The online customer details are never displayed and the SD CC number neber responds. You wont belive it, I had to spend 3 weeks without signal on my connection when I had a balance of 300rs in my account. I got teh error "e52 no signal", CC never responded and local distributor was least bothred about me. The another suffocating thing is I was charged in full for the 3 weeks no signal time and my account was deducted full amount. How suffocating would that be. Even after that many such issues, sometimes no signal, sometimes smart card failure, some times nothing to update etc etc etc. I cant understand the english the CC speaks, infact I dont call that english. After soo much of pain, I wanted to pass on this message to other friends of mine here. Guys,Gals plzz dont buy SD never. Tomorrow, I will burn the SD dish and settop box on middle of the road and I will let know as many as people about the cheap services that SD is offering. Thanks.

i think he has pretty much clarified that the problems are related to support from the company. the STBs are not giving any problems.
My STB is dead and nobody has responded till date.
