I was absent for 2 days in IBF and I just went through the discussions in this thread.I Agree with all the Points Said by AjuRavi 200%I also agree with others , who support Kamal, for only 1 fact, Kamal is Good Actor, trying differently.But Kaml is No:1 Pombala Porukki....:evil: finshed almost all the actress whom he acted with, including Kovai Sarla, Manorma, Chachuuu :wall: [ I heard this lots of people telling, including kamal's Fans]I am sure , all Kamal Rasigans will know this and dont object this for just name sake:evil:Its very difficult to watch kamal movies with Family, Example, Hey Ram and Kuruthi Punal...I still remember the day we went to udhayam theatre for hey ram, unknowingly with Family:wall::wall:Lots of " Mugam Sulikkum Scenes".Can any one list out, any one Rajini Movie, which has high vulgarity like these kamal films in the last 10 years, after he became shining as a SuperStar all over India..Almost all his films come with " U " Certificate, Where as Kamal " A " .:wallont say, thats Director's work, as Kamal is a Top Actor, he can object it...:wall:

I am sorry to say this.. but I need to convey it... It is people who are seeing it as vulgar... when u look at Hollywood do they say as vulgar an all ? no... it is a part of film.. and one more thing... there is no need to feel guilty of watching kamal films with family... we should be matured enough to take these things lightly..

They can also say like this, and Give " U " certificate to all the films right?Dont be silly.... and Dont think All are Mad:madness:Regarding, Hollywood , Its made for Americans and British Mainly, where they dont worry about married relationships..They believe in " Living Together " with many than " Marriage " with one person life long... Hi Friends, Happy Deepawali. I have no intention of continuing this thread in the direction of Kamal, Rajani et all though I would like to share my views(not that it is of any worth) without hurting any fans of any actors. I have been a Kamal fan since my 'knicker' days when I really did not understand what 'acting' was. But of late I am having doubts as to whether Kamal is regarded as a great actor for his acting skill or make-up skill. I always feel that whenever people see Kamal in the roles like the ones in Dasavatar, Indian, 1/2 role in Appu Raja, viewers are actually awed by his make-up and they pay little attention to his acting skills. In fact, in the movies of these kind make-up takes prominance than the acting. But it is for sure he has to be credited for introducinging off-beat movies. Yes, many of his movies have sexual overtones which causes one wriggle(if you are watching his movies with family) and can definitely by avoided. Reg Rajni, no one has attempted to show him as an actor (Exceptions: Aarilirunthu Arubathu varai, Moollum Malarum, Un Kannil Neer Vazhinthal, Thambikku Entha Ooru). He has always been portrayed as a star. In general, Tamil movie has not at all matured even after existence of so many years. Technology-wise it has grown in leaps and bounds, but contentwise, I would say, it has only deteriorated. The industry still wants to show ruffian type heros, wants to make movies like 'E', Seval, Kurivi. I dread that there are heros like Parthiban who always presents himself the smartest of the all, the only one to sacrifice for others and never misses ridiculing women and comedians in his films. But alas, that has been the case with other heroes like Sathyaraj, Vijay, Vijaykanth and even the superstar Rajnikant. To put it simply the industry is patriarchal and full of male chauvinism. Amen
