Mozilla ended support for the Firefox Lockwise app on Android and iOS, effective December 13, 2021, and integrated its functionality into Firefox mobile.
samsung keyboard animations in the suggestion bar are too annoying. gboard is just trash lol. i have tried so many times to switch to something else since the microsoft acquisition but nothing else work for me lol.
my biggest problem with gboard is that after using swiftkey for years, i expect the primary suggestion to be in the middle of the suggestion bar. but pretty much every app puts it on the left. samsung does the same.
they also have a massive issue of not putting space after user enters a period (or something like that). read a blog post recently that it has been sort of fixed with a setting option which is in beta.
For a novice who never used a password manager, I wanted opinions whether keeping one's passwords in a text file & encrypted with SSE (secret space encrypter) free ver just as good. This ofcourse does not have auto fill option.
1. It's more cumbersome to save everything in a text file. You have to figure out a backup solution, a easy way to decrypt and read the file on all of the devices you use and so on.
2. Password managers also come with password generators built into it. At this point, I literally don't even know any of my passwords other than the bitwarden master password.
3. Most password managers, browsers and others have HIBP integration so you can get a notification when there is a breach and it can also show if any of the passwords you use have been leaked in the past.
