Define decent... Also, Sony has a few good phones in that range (12-18) Ray, Neo V, Walkman, Mini & Mini Pro, Sola etc. Defy series from Motorola. HTC Desire or One series can get a second look. Samsung Galaxy Ace etc. So plenty at that end.But... the major thing is, who said I will not pay more for an Android or a Blackberry or even a Windows phone. :D

Once upon a time, 2-3 years back, I was planning to make Blackberry as my next phone after Nokia N95 for its various apps it had. Not any more considering RIM's current condition.

I'm not following Androids, other than Galaxys that see in news. There may be decent phones available from SE, having used their phones earlier.

=========================On a very serious note, many people need to realize that their needs might be very different from others, and what is good & needed for themselves may not be needed for others, and stuff which is unwanted for them, maybe a must have for others.Take Admin's preference for google services, my preference for a key-based device, someone's preference for BBM etc. For me, iPhone is simply a touchscreen device with ios and a good number of apps. What else does it have. Mind you, I have experienced 3GS & 4S of friends. And, I did not find being buttery smooth as a major factor (accepting for arguments sake that its more smooth than any other OS) for me to spend an additional 30k

I agree. I would like to say that that iDevices are addictive and people just can't get away from it. I've not come across anybody who is an ex-user of an iDevice!

Visit Android or BB forums, I cannot vouch for their genuinity, but you will find plenty. Of course, you would probably faint from listening to praises of the OS from fanboys or criticisms from trolls, by the time you find one.
