Had to buy an induction. Decided to skip Amazon because well you always end up with a used unit. Ordered from Blinkit. Arrived in around 15 minutes. Package was not sealed. But product does not look used. Works. Delivery guy had no idea about invoice which is needed in this case for warranty purposes. Thankfully managed to find invoice in-app which is not very clear. Blinkit really should at least send a mail for delivery of hardware products with invoice. Anyways. I am sure this is better experience than what would I have had with Amazon. The induction I ordered from Amazon back in October 2023 was a used unit and had physical damage.
big win for goyal. blinkit was anyways not enforcing 10m delivery. a lot of deliveries just take more time. locations with their store would continue to get faster deliveries like normal. and they get free publicity out of the whole thing. and they can now just say that we were forced to discontinue the branding. and competitors like Amazon got fooled into following their lead when there was absolutely no need to. it is just not economically possible for multiple brands to open their dark stores in all major localities in major cities. it is just a stupid concept.
