Ola ties up with BMW for luxury cabs segment

The tie-up will allow Ola cab operators to avail cheaper credit to buy BMW cars, receive after-sales support and guaranteed buyback, Ola said in a statement.

BMW-certified instructors will also train drivers about auto safety systems and technology, the statement said.

My first Uber ride was in a BMW. Paid around 850 rupees from CP to home at around midnight. First and last.

When I had been to UK first time, my friend had booked cab from Airport, and it was... Mercedes! A "silver coloured Merc" as driver referred to it. It was automatic gear car, with all advance display dashboard.
Later while in UK, I travelled in some other good brand cars which were used as cabs, like Jaguar, Toyota Corolla as well.
But never travelled in Audi or BMW so far.
