BookMyShow News & Updates

Dear devx101,

We certainly understand your concern and the offers available on our website are for our valued customer. However, we would like to state that as mentioned in the terms & conditions for this offer, the number of tickets available for redemption per day are limited and can be redeemed on a first come first serve basis.

Due to so many movies promising entertainment, releasing one after the other, the offer gets exhausted in a short span of time if the volume of bookings increase rapidly. The offer is not available for redemption once the quota of free tickets is exhausted for a particular day and in such situations the user has to try availing the offer after it is refreshed the next day.

The mentioned error is encountered in case of the number of tickets available under the offer being exhausted or due to an unsuccessful transaction while trying to avail the offer. In case of the availing the offer and the transaction being unsuccessful, the offer gets blocked in the system for 20 mins which is released after that period.

We wish to clarify the process of redemption of the existing offers on our website so that your query is resolved to your satisfaction and hence we request you to kindly share your contact number with us. Our customer care team will get in touch with you right away.

Providing you a good ticketing experience is always at heart.

Thanking you.
Team BookMyShow
thanks for the response but not willing to share my contact details.
The matter is crystal clear and i don't want any clarifications from CC.
All that is requested is a little more transparency in your dealings.....Either have a counter showing remaining no. of seats or at least mention the quota clearly in website banners/pamphlets and write first come first right on banner itself.
But i guess ICICI is more to blame in this regard than BMS. You should not have gone into such a deal very itself.
Anyways at least let us know the Quota values (yaha bhi qouta!!!!)

if i remember correctly the daily quota is 200 free tickets per day , it exhausts in 10 minutes after 10.00 am every morning , people barge in like anything

Maybe hide the offers dynamically when they are no longer available. Best is to do it automatically. Just apply all the applicable offers like Flipkart.

Thats why Flipkart is Flipkart.,.....complete transparency. they hardly have offers anyways.

200 free/discounted tickets for entire India....wah reh mera sher....they are worst than IRCTC tatkal bookings....

This is my recent experience on BMS. I decided to not buy tickets from them in future because of such absurd 'internet handling charges'.
I understand PVR charged them a bomb for rights to their theaters. But this amount is abusurd.
