BookMyShow News & Updates

Yesterday (Sunday) for first time I booked movie ticket at Big Cinemas using BookMyShow's WP7 App. It took almost 10 minutes to complete booking by making payment using Credit Card. UI of the app is fantastic and fast for WP7.
And I booked the ticket 2 hours before the movie start timing, lucky to find 2 seats in afternnon timing as most shows were houseful yesterday (for YJHD).

Alright, this is weird, bms seems to have very few listings for Now You See Me ex. bms doesn't list adlabs wadala, but adlabs' own website does list the same and provides an option to book ticket via their own interface(not via bms, iirc, it used to be via bms earlier). Adlabs' own website is very shabby, not sure if I should use it to book tickets(on a side note, they support amex, yay! :P)

this is what i was asking about earlier pvr have their own website and are not on bms. so my question is how much does it cost extra to be on bms?they should do it like airlines where user can book from indigo as well as from Cleartrip.

I think it depends upon the city and the theater. Not sure though. They do not have PVR so have not used them in a long time now.

BMS is the only option then. Some cinemas run their own booking platforms along with BMS, some rely solely on BMS and some (like PVR) are entirely independent)

Any online movie ticket sits cant charge you rupee extra (atleast in Mumbai) they are all the same. (there was some case recently against BMS for charging convenience fees)
