Buddy, but i dont think tht previous speed is back as a action for ur complaint. Coz they couldn't change speed of a single user when the software is set as 1 Mbps for all unlimited plan users. Hope its purely a coincidence. Might be they are giving back the original speeds in some areas. What abt other unlimited users' speed in ur area?

I just ran into a friend who uses BSNL 3G (unlimited 4200 Rs) in Chennai Guindy area.He has been capped to 1 mbps and his speed hasnt returned back to normal.
I connected his sim into my data card in madurai, and the speed is still 1 Mbps..When i connect my Sim, i get a maxi speed of 4 Mbps..
Speed is 99% definitely capped based on Individual's 3G Sim numbers.
check with the H.O where u purchased your 3G sim..

The speed u get on PC connecting via your USB data card doesnt depend on whether u use a 256k sim or a ordinary 2G converted to 3G Sim..
